Spiritual maturity

This term refers to the process by which our intelligence—the Individual Spirit—develops and matures. It differs in essence from the intellectual processes of understanding, learning, and cognitive development – basic functions of human intelligence. Depending on the degree of interaction and interdependence between the physical body situated in the Living and the spirit existing within Existence, each human spirit undergoes its own distinct journey. The level of maturity increases or decreases depending on how far the spirit ascends or descends along the steps of realization—the fundamental data of Existence—while remaining as little influenced as possible by external conditions such as living environment, lifestyle, or the Sphere of Outer Dependency. In short, Spiritual maturity is evaluated by how deeply a person’s conscience understands the Law of Existence and how sincerely it is applied in life within the Living. It is a concept that operates subtly and often beyond one’s immediate awareness, containing a uniquely structured inner dimension. Individual Spirits that mature well in this life continue their next stages of development within the Invisible Higher Worlds—within the five-dimensional Existence—in non-physical form.
